Do you want to learn Norwegian
in-person and
IN BERGEN?

Join the Norwegian lessons with Tor in Bergen for Total Beginners A1 level. It will be classroom based lessons with up to 8 students. The lessons will either be conducted in the evening or in the morning.

Tor has a lot of experience with teaching Norwegian from before. From 2018 Tor started teaching Norwegian online, he has had more than +4000 students enrolled in both self-paced courses and also in-person Norwegian lessons.

If you are starting out learning Norwegian and want to reach A1 level in a classroom with other motivated students, then this is perfect for you. Have a closer look at timeslots and more information regarding classes below.

We will have the lessons in a classroom together. Tor will conduct each lesson with a presentation, handouts and homework. If you want to learn some slang words from Tromsø/Bergen, then I can help you with that too ;)

The book På vei (A1-A2) will be used. You can get both the book and the workbook in a local book store. We will have fun games like Kahoot, speaking exercises and writing tasks.

The lessons will prepare you for Norskprøven for later on. So if you need permanent residency, citizenship, need to study or are looking for a job, then you will be in good hands.

What you will be able to do

After joining the classes, you will be able to:

Improve speaking and listening
In each lesson you will practice speaking with other students while listening to each other. There will be proactive activities to improve your speaking skills. Tor will give you advice on how to master speaking Norwegian.
Strengthen your writing and reading
You will receive homework after each lessons so that you can practice important topics. Tor will correct and guide you on how to improve your writing skills.
Prepare for Norskprøven
We will follow curriculum that prepares you for taking Norskprøven. We will have a look at typical examples you will face once you take the test. It is also possible to schedule a trial exam with Tor later on for speaking or writing.
Prepare for life in Norway
You'll feel much more confident after taking the lessons with Tor. You will be able to reach your goals for living in Norway and properly integrate.
